Assoc. Prof. EMEL ADAMIŞ

Dr. Emel Adamış has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Vocational School of İznik at Bursa Uludağ University, Department of Tourism, Travel and Entertainment Services, Tourist Guidance Program. Dr. Adamış completed her undergraduate education and received an MA degree (ELT-English Language Teaching department) at Bursa Uludağ University in Education Faculty. In 2016, she received her Ph.D. at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Management. In charge of international relations, she is also Institutional Erasmus Coordinator and has been conducting EU Projects professionally on various issues in social sciences since 2006. She is Vice-President of the International Federation for Information Technologies and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) Türkiye Chapter, which is a leading independent global community.  She is a board member of the Gastronomy Culture and Travel Association (GASTRODER).

Her research interests include social media marketing, sustainable tourism, alternative tourism, smart tourism, and gastronomy.  With an outgoing personality and energized by challenges and problems, she enjoys volunteering in the community, joining teamwork, and lecturing at various European universities.
