Biyografi

Ağustos 1971 de Bolvadin/Afyonkarahisar’da doğdu. Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinden 1994 de dereceyle mezun oldu. Tıpta ilk uzmanlığını Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İç hastalıkları Anabilim dalında tamamladı. İhtisası sırasında ‘’Prof Dr M. Şeref Zileli Ödülü-1997-Yılın Başarılı Asistanı’’ ödülüne layık görüldü. Tıpta ikinci uzmanlık alanı olarak Kardiyoloji ihtisasını Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde Aralık 2001’de tamamladı. Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kardiyoloji Anabilim Dalında sırasıyla uzman, öğretim görevlisi ve Yrd. Doç olarak görev yaptı. Yine aynı kurumda görev yaparken 2007’ de Doçent ve Şubat 2013 de Profesör ünvanı aldı. Tıp Fakültesinde yönetim kurulu üyeliği, Dekan vekilliği ve Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesinde Rektör yardımcılığı görevlerinde bulundu. Haziran 2020 tarihinden itibaren Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kardiyoloji Anabilim Dalında görev yapmaktadır. European Cardiologist (2002), Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (2003), Türk Kardiyoloji derneği Hipertansiyon Çalışma grubu Başkanı (2014-2016) olarak çalıştı. Kanada, McMaster Üniversitesi Hamilton Health Sciences, Hamilton General Hospital,de 2003 yılında ziyaretçi kardiyoloji hekimi olarak bulundu.
