Biography

In the year 2005, I became acquainted with the art of Islamic calligraphy through a one-year apprenticeship in 'rik'a' style under the tutelage of Tahir Güçlü at Konya Manuscripts Library. In 2010, I commenced my undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Istanbul University. In 2012, I embarked on Islamic calligraphy instruction under the guidance of Levent Karaduman at Yıldız Şale, an institution affiliated with the Istanbul National Palaces. In 2015, I was accepted into the graduate program of the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at Selçuk University's Faculty of Fine Arts.

In 2019, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Fatih Özkafa, I successfully completed my master's thesis titled 'Ijazatnamah and Signature Tradition of Islamic Calligraphy Art'. In 2021, after fulfilling the requirements, I obtained my ijazat from Levent Karaduman. In 2022, I commenced my academic position at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Traditional Turkish Arts Department, at Uludağ University in Bursa.
