Biography

Prof. Dr. Melih Engin is a Professor of Management Information Systems at Bursa Uludağ University, Turkey. His academic research bridges the gap between computational data science and organizational behavior. He possesses a strong technical background in big data technologies, analytics, and machine learning, having authored and edited comprehensive academic works on supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms using Python and R.

Alongside his technical expertise, Prof. Engin conducts extensive research on digital transformation and technology adoption in organizational and public settings. Utilizing frameworks such as the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), his work explores how individuals and institutions perceive, accept, and integrate emerging technologies into real-world environments. His multidisciplinary approach provides valuable insights into both the technical development of information systems and their practical, human-centric implementation.
