Prof. METİN BECERMEN

Biography

Metin Becermen, who was born in Bitlis, finished his primary and middle education in Bitlis and  high school education in Bursa. After he had worked in  various places and fabrics, he studied in Çankırı University. With the experiences he gained, he got a degree  at Bursa Uludağ University in the Faculty of Art and Human Sciences Department of Philosophy. He completed his master's degree in Institue of Social Sciences at the same university in between 1998-2001. He received his PhD in 2002-2009 in the Institue of Social Sciences at Hacettepe University. He worked as research assistant in Faculty of Art and Human Sciences in Philosophy  in 1999-2002 at Bursa Uludağ University  after at Hacettepe University in 2002-2009. He received Assist. Professor in April, 2012 and in the same year, in June Assoc. Professor. In 2020 he received his Professorship.  At the present time, he is working as a  Professor at Departmant of Philosophy at Bursa Uludağ University. Metin Becermen who is the author of History of Philosopy II (with Ali Taşkın in 2013) and Traces and Paths (2017), was the editorship of the journal of Kaygı (2002-2017).
