Abstract
This paper presents a practical guide designed to equip English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers with the skills and knowledge for AI literacy, framed within the AI-PACK framework. It begins by exploring key AI concepts and then tracing the evolution of AI in educational contexts. The paper emphasizes practical strategies for integrating AI tools like ChatGPT into EFL teaching, guided by the AI-PACK model's components - AI-K, AI-PK, AI-CK, and AI-PCK. It tackles the challenges educators face in this digital transition, offering AI-PACK aligned solutions and highlighting ethical considerations in AI usage offering a potential framework for EFL professionals. Concluding with a vision for the future, the paper highlights the importance of ongoing professional development in AI for educators, positioning this guide as a vital tool for navigating the dynamic interface of AI in language education.
