In this study, we consider velaroidal shells (surfaces) to be a special type of factorable surfaces which are obtained by Monge patches. It is accepted as a model for generating an unlimited number of velaroid surfaces, theoretically suitable for forming a selfsupporting spatial structure within a rectangular area. The mean and Gaussian curvatures of this type of surface are presented. Furthermore, the values of the generator functions are calculated if these surfaces are flat. As an application, the graphs of these velaroidal surfaces, for which we have made the curvature calculations, are given in the form of tables.
