Özet

Alkyl bromoacetates were shown to be versatile transesterification reagents. Isoxazoles underwent chemoselective transesterification when treated with alkyl bromoacetate-Zn in THF at reflux. A suggested mechanism of the new reaction was discussed. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
