Özet

Önceleri sadece savaş dönemi yaralı asker bakımı ile başlayan hemşirelik mesleği zaman ilerledikçe belli bir eğitim düzeyi beklenen, bilgi ve beceriye dayalı sağlık hizmeti sunan, kuralları belirlenmiş profesyonel bir meslek grubu haline dönüşmüştür. Hemşirelik mesleğinin tam bir meslek olma ve profesyonelleşme süreci uzun yıllar gerektirmiş, bu iş için birleşen birçok gönüllü hemşirenin destek ve özverileri ile mesleki örgütler kurulmuş ve profesyonelleşme sürecinin ilk adımları atılmaya başlanmıştır. Hemşirelik mesleğinde ortak bir kültür ve eylem gerçekleştirmek, profesyonelleşmek için bir araya gelmiş olan bu mesleki örgütler; hemşirelikte standartlar, kurallar, beklentiler ve mesleki etik kuralları oluşturarak mesleğin hak ve sorumluluklarını belirlemişlerdir.

 Bu bildiride, ülkemizde hemşirelikte mesleki örgütlenmenin tarihsel gelişimi araştırılarak her bir derneğin hemşirelik mesleğine katkıları dönemsel olarak vurgulanacaktır. 

The nursing profession, which started only with the care of wounded soldiers during the war period, has developed into a professional occupational group whose rules are determined, providing health services based on knowledge and skills, which requires a certain level of education as time progresses. The process of becoming a profession and the professionalization of the nursing profession has required many years, professional organizations have been established with the support and devotion of many volunteer nurses united for this job and the first steps of the professionalization process have been started. These professional organizations, which have come together to realize a common culture and action in the nursing profession and become professionalization, have established standards, rules, expectations and professional ethics rules in nursing and have determined the rights and responsibilities of the profession.

In this paper, the historical development of occupational organization in nursing in our country will be investigated and the contributions of each association to the nursing profession will be emphasized periodically.
