Özet

Vesicoureteric reflux (VUR) is the retrograde flow of urine from the bladder into the ureter. It is an anatomic and functional disorder with potentially serious consequences such as recurrent urinary tract infection, which may progress to end-stage renal failure. The principle of the treatment is to prevent renal damage. (Turk Arch Ped 2010; 45 Suppl: 80-4)
