Özet
Aim of the study is effect of the P/Zn ratio in plants on plant growth and zinc and phosphorus uptake. For this purpose, a greenhouse experiment was conducted using maize plant with four phosphorus doses (P₁ 0 mg P kg-1, P₂ 15 mg P kg-1, P₃ 40 mg P kg-1 and P₄ 80 mg P kg-1) and five zinc doses (Zn₁ 0 mg Zn kg-1, Zn₂ 0.5 mg Zn kg-1, Zn₃ 2 mg Zn kg-1, Zn₄ 5 mg Zn kg-1 and Zn₅ 10 mg Zn kg-1). In the experiment, 100 mg N kg-1 (Urea) and 80 mg K kg-1 (K2SO4) were applied as basic fertilizers. The study determined that Zn2 and Zn5 doses increased the root Zn content of maize plants by 43.99% and 157.54% respectively. Similarly, the application of P80 increased root phosphorus content by 12.03%. However, negative effects of phosphorus application to maize plants on root Zn content comparing the control. P80 application reduced root Zn content by 23.92% have been determined. Besides, the applied Zn5 dose was reduced root phosphorus content by 37.64%. The most effective application on root dry matter content was determined to be the P80Zn0 application. Phosphorus content in the shoot was increased by 18.78% with P80 application, while zinc concentration in average of 53.1%, 206.7%, 200.9%, and 427.41% with zinc doses was increased. We determined the phosphorus application to the shoot decreased their Zn content. This reduction as a result of P80 application on the maize plant as 41.19% in Zn0, 63.07% in Zn0.5, 68.81% in Zn2, 59.10% in Zn5, and 54.90% in Zn10 was determined. The study has been displayed that P80Zn2 and P80Zn5 applications as a positive effect on the dry matter content of the maize plant.
