Abstract

Interdisciplinary studies provide different experiences that help students develop various senses and perceptions. These skills are even more important for art education and art teacher candidates. Therefore, these interdisciplinary activities which include projects that aim to improve field-specific skills as well as to gain more awareness on socio-cultural matters, such as helping each other, empathy, love of animals and nature, gaining knowledge about and protecting nature and history-, will contribute to training more sensitive teachers.
