Abstract
Piezoelectric composites using lexible elastomers have received considerable attention
in recent years due to their robust performance in terms of high strain sensitivity, mechanical
strength, thermal stability, and adjustable viscoelastic behavior under extreme conditions. In this
study, the electromechanical characteristics of the elastomer/BaTiO3 composite were investigated
for the generation of induced-vibration energy. The developed composites showed promising
lexibility and electrical output under mechanical stress. The addition of 15 wt.% BaTiO3
signiicantly increased the composite's electrical output compared to the pure elastomer.
