Abstract

This is a methodological study of the Turkish version of the PAPBS, aiming to test its reliability and validity. The research was conducted in 2023 via social media across Türkiye, using the snowball sampling method. The item-level content validity index of the scale ranged between 0.82 and 1.00. The Cronbach’s alpha value of the scale was determined to be 0.78. According to the findings, there was a high, positive, and significant relationship between the two halves of the scale (r: 0.71; p < 0.001). The findings and goodness of fit values indicate that the scale can be used validly and reliably in Turkish culture.
