Abstract

In recent years, electrical power systems have been gaining importance, but difficult to operate especially when they exhibit chaotic behavior. In this study, the control of hyperchaotic Two-Machine Infinite-Bus (TMIB) power system is implemented with the linear feedback control method. First, the TMIB power system is defined as a set of differential equations. Time series and phase portraits of TMIB power system are illustrated. Then, the linear feedback controllers are constructed and added to hyperchaotic TMIB power system. Simulation results are demonstrated in figures, they have validated all the theoretical analyses. The hyperchaotic TMIB power system is controlled in an appropriate time period by means of the linear feedback controllers, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
