Özet
Homework is the duty which results within the scope of a schooling as a
home work for students. It serves for the preparing and the evaluation of the
teaching material and helps students to internalize what they have learned and to
work independently. After (Kamm/Müller, 1985) it is an integrated component of
the lessons. The concern of this
contribution is to show that there has to be a distinguishment between apt and
senseless homework. It is only effective when well prepared and thought through
by teachers. The amount of homework is not crucial for the learning process. Homework
given regularly can lead to slightly better achievements, as if given irregularly.
As the results for the survey in this contribution have shown, it can be said that
homework must not be exiled completely from the lessons, but if given, it must
be meaningful on the one hand and be limited in the amount on the other hand. A
temporal excessive demand of the students must be prevented. Homework is an
important element in the lessons.
