The purpose of this study was to identify the opinions of CEIT teacher candidates about a web-enhanced learning environment. Sixty teacher candidates taking Programming Languages II course given in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Department in spring 2012 participated in this study. A course satisfaction questionnaire developed by the researcher was applied to the participants at the end of the course. The participants' responses to the questionnaire, which consists of open-ended questions, were analyzed using qualitative methods. In the light of the information obtained, it was concluded that the teacher candidates generally had positive opinions about the web-enhanced learning environment designed to support the face to face part of the course. The positive opinions of the participants are grouped under three themes: the effectiveness of teaching materials, the ease of access and the support of educational activities. The teacher candidates stated that the most important factor of that environment was visual learning materials developed for the course. They also emphasized that improving visual learning materials and providing more communication and collaboration facilities would be beneficial to advance the learning environment. The findings of this study are also important for the educators who want to support their courses through the internet.
