Abstract

This work considers the (2+1)-dimensional extended Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (eKP) equation. It models weakly dispersive nonlinear waves in multidimensional fluid and plasma systems. We perform Lie symmetry analysis, tanh method and multiplier method. Thus, we get Lie point symmetry generators, symmetry reductions, exact solutions and local conservation laws.
