Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the influence of posterior subtenon injection of 40 mg of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) on blood glucose, cortisol and adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) in patients with clinically significant diabetic macular oedema.
