Different methods are available for analysis of circuits. The major ones are mesh-current, node-voltage and state-equation methods. The linear equations which are based on these methods are solved by Cramer's rule, Gauss elimination and inverse matrix. In this study, the solutions of linear systems have been carried out by means of both conventional and genetic algorithm methods. For this purpose, various simulations have been realized by designing a simulator program which can be used for educational purposes. The efficacy of genetic algorithms in the solution of equations systems has been shown.
