Vehicle interior noise is a factor that directly affects users' perception of the quality of passenger cars. Research shows that there have been more focus on NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) studies in modern vehicles in recent years. Ceiling tiles are extremely important in controlling vehicle interior noise. With the developing technology, automotive companies focused on ceiling tiles and invested in NVH analysis. In this study, the material properties and acoustic test methods of the ceiling tiles of the vehicles were investigated. Sound absorption of ceiling tiles was carried out using an impedance tube. The sound absorption coefficients of ceiling tiles of different materials and different thicknesses were estimated and compared with the test results.
