8th International Hydrogen Technologies Congress, Diyarbakır, Türkiye, 12 - 15 Mayıs 2024, ss.93-96, (Tam Metin Bildiri)
In
recent years, the use of hydrogen energy and, therefore, fuel cells in power
systems has been increasing. However, as with every unit added to the
microgrid, fuel cells are required so that the power quality of the electrical
grid does not deteriorate. On the other hand, in addition to fuel cells, many
devices negatively affecting power quality are also in the microgrid structure.
In this study, fuel cell-induced power quality degradations are detected to
prevent the fuel cell from being completely damaged. In the case of multiple
simultaneous degradations, the degradation source is determined. Thus,
microgrid and fuel cell protection can be provided by making the relevant relay
switch on time.
