The aim of the study is to present the environmental attitude and policy for ecologically clean production in correspondence to the trend for sustainable rural areas development, intentions to apply ecological management and respect requirements for environment protection of 30 medium and small vineyard farm owners from South-East vinegrowing region in Bulgaria. The survey was carried out in 2013. The high ecological culture of the respondents and their attitude for future economic activity registered by the survey represent a potential possibility and competitive advantage for successful application of the new budget and reference frame of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2014-2020. The results from the survey show that among the farm owners in South-East vinegrowing region exists sustainable connection between the natural resources and the agricultural activity. This is very important for preserving the ecological balance, which is the main requirement for the farm owners to produce healthy and qualified food.
