Abstract

Sleigh’s book, as initially stated by the author, is part of the “What Is It For?” series, which explores the contemporary world from freedom of religion and expression to animal rights and the Olympics. Within this series, the book focuses on museums.

Yazar Sleigh’in kitabı, yazarın başlangıçta belirttiği şekliyle; din ve ifade özgürlüğünden hayvan haklarına ve olimpiyatlara kadar çağdaş dünyayı inceleyen serinin bir parçasıdır. “What Is It For?” serisi içerisinde yer alan kitap, müzeleri konu edinmektedir.
