Özet

The patients with ankylosing spondylitis present spesific challenges to the anaesthetist. We present a case where total hip replacement was performed under continuous spinal anaesthesia in a patient suffering from ankylosing spondylitis. Spesific anaesthetic considerations for patients with ankylosing spondylitis are rewiewed.
