Energy is the most important need of our age. The trend towards alternative energy sources is increasing day by day. The energy needs of micro/nano systems are met by electrochemical batteries. Batteries cause environmental pollution due to their need for constant replacement and difficulties in recycling. Thanks to piezoelectric energy harvesting, the energy needs of micro/nano structures can be met without the need for an external power source. Structures with piezoelectric properties can convert the energy sources available in our environment into useful energy. Piezoelectric energy harvesting is carried out through piezoelectric nanogenerators. In this study, piezoelectric nano composite energy generators were developed and produced. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) Piezo polymer, PVDF/BaTiO3 (Barium titanate) and PVDF/BaTiO3/MWCNT (Multi-Walled Carbon Nano Tube) Piezo polymer nano composite nano energy generators were produced. Piezoelectric energy was harvested from mechanical vibrations. Within the scope of the study, the effects of nano additives in the piezoelectric structure on piezoelectric energy harvesting were investigated. As a result of the study, it was obtained that the PVDF/BaTiO3/MWCNT piezoelectric nanogenerator containing 0.01% MWCNT gave the highest piezoelectric power output with a value of 0.36 µW.
