Introducton and Purpose: Background:Cytomegalovrus (CMV) pneumona s a sgnfcant complcaton n patents wth hematologc malgnances, contrbutng to hgh morbdty and mortalty. Ths study evaluated the clncal outcomes and prognostc factors nfluencng n-hosptal and 30-day mortalty n patents wth probable CMV pneumona. Materals and Methods: Methods:A retrospectve analyss was conducted on 73 patents wth hematologc malgnances dagnosed wth probable CMV pneumona. Clncal characterstcs, laboratory parameters, antvral treatment duraton, and mortalty rates were assessed. Multvarate Cox regresson analyss was performed to dentfy ndependent predctors of n-hosptal and 30 day mortalty. Fgure 1 provdes a summary of the study protocol.
