This study aims to investigate
the effect of measurement parameters on the results of the Poisson’s ratio
values. The marking distance of 30mm x 150mm and 20mm/min crosshead speed test
parameters that were used in the study was in accordance with the ASTM E132
"Standard Test Method for Poisson's Ratio at Room Temperature". In
addition, the marking distance of 50mm x 150mm and 200mm/min crosshead speed
test parameters were also investigated. Auxetic (foldable pattern) and
non-auxetic (1x1 Rib) knitted fabrics were produced. ANOVA test results reveal
that knitting structure, marking distance, and crosshead speed was
statistically effective on PR values.
