The study presents a hybrid sensor fusion framework that uses a two-layer architecture to handle Byzantine faults by treating sensors as a cooperative swarm. While the off-chain layer initially detects anomalies using Leave-One-Out (LOO) consistency checks, the on-chain layer applies blockchain-inspired reputation tracking for long-term disqualification. MATLAB simulations conducted with spoofing, bias drift, and coalition attacks, shows that the system maintains accurate fused outputs and how system stability trade-offs change via parameter settings.
