Free Activity Course (FAC) is added into elementary 1. level curriculum in 2010-2011 academic year. Lightening the compulsory subject load of elementary 1. level, getting students gain life skills, positive personality and moral characteristics by joining social, cultural, artistic and educational ativities are aimed within FAC. But in practise it is seen that uncompleted subjects of curriculum are taught or tests are solved or students are left to themselves alone far from eductional or teaching activities. It is thought that this situation occurs because the Ministry of National Education doesn't present a defined program so improving a program suitable for the aim and content of FAC is tried by this study. In this context School Gardening Program (SGP) is improved for FAC: Aim of the study is introducing School Gardening Program improved for FAC. To introduce the program while the steps followed during program development process are explained, Interdisciplinary School Gardening Program Model (ISGPM) that process revealed is discussed as a model suggestion.
