Özet

The vegetation period of increasing growth of the above ground live phytomass extends from April until August. Over two years the annual increase of the dry matter (DM) with nitrogen content of the above ground live phytomass was found to be 1700-1335 kg/ha. DM was 15 and 8 kg/ha N respectively in the Festuca community, and 2194 and 4479 kg/ha DM (26 and 62 kg/ha N) respectively in the Nardus community. It is concluded that the total phytomass consists of: the aboveground live, 5-9%, the underground, 40-54%, and the aboveground dead, which stays constant, 37-55% for each of the two communities. -from English summary
