Language assessment has been developing and evolving rapidly,
causing teachers to adapt their approaches to meet the new standards.

y assessing learners helps keep teachers up-to-date with changes
in language assessment
because teachers need to stay informed about
recent developments and modifcations within the feld of language assessment. Changes in language assessment can derive from research fndings, technological developments and shifts in educational standards. As
a result, teachers who constantly assess their students’ language skills on
a regular basis can also align their own teaching method and materials to
current day practice and ensure that their students receive effective upto-date language instruction.
