Özet

In the presented study, Finite Element simulations of the sandwich pipes under quasi-static and impact loaded three-point bending, internal pressure, external pressure and axial compression were performed. Sandwich pipes were designed by using two thin coaxial pipes and lattice cores between them. The Core types were studied on the performance of sandwich pipes using pyramidal, cubic and hexagonal arrangements. Experimental validation of the FE models was performed using polymer sandwich pipes which produced by Fused Deposition Method of Additive Manufacturing Device. The results show that the lattice core sandwich pipes showed high specific static and dynamic load carrying performances.
