Abstract

Objectives: We investigated intra-articular levels of collagenase, which presumably promotes bone-tendon healing, and collagenase mediators involved in its production (tumor necrosis factor-alpha, TNF-alpha) and inhibition (TIMP-1 enzyme) in patients following anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
