Özet

Osmanlı klasik çagmda telif edilmiş olan MevzfJ 'iitu 'l-U/ilm, İslam ilim geleneği çerçevesinde, kendine özgü bir ilimler tasnifi içeren, her bir ilim dalına ait önemli eser ve alimler hakkında bilgi veren bir ansiklopedidir. Bu makalede, MevzfJ'iitu'l-Ulilm'da felsefe (hikmet) ve özellikle ilm-i ilahi (metafizik) için ayrılmış bölümler incelenerek, felsefenin mahiyeti, konumu ve değeri hakkında ileri sürülen düşünceler araştınlacak, metinde adı geçen düşünürlere ilişkin degerlendirmeler incelenecektir. Böylelikle Mevzii'iitu'/- U/ilm 'un felsefe tasavvuru, en azından ana hatlarıyla, tasvir edilmeye çalışılacaktır. 

MawdU'atu'l-Uifun that written in Otoman classical history, isa encyclopedia that includes a distinctive classification of the sciences, provides important work of each branch of sciences and give information about the scholars within the fraınework of the Islamic tradition ofleaming (sciences). In this Study, we will examine the parts of philosophy, especially theological therne (methaphysic) one in Mawdii'atu'l-Ulfun. And it is examined the ideas put forward about the nature of philosophy, its status, values and assessments of the thinkers mentioned in the text. Thereby, it will be deseribed generally, at least, the philosophical envision of Mawdii'atu'l-Ulfun.
