Abstract

Electrical discharge compaction (EDC) process involves electrical, physical, mathematical modelling and metallurgical investigation to gain correct insight into the parameters which govern the mechanism of consolidation. The process also involves heat dissipation, current distribution, temperature distribution, fast sinteringand the influence of rate of cooling in the microstructure of material.
