Abstract

Objective: Suboptimal nutrition leads to growth delay, frequently without overt clinical or biochemical signs. We hypothesize that changes in serum IFG-1 and erythrocyte sodium-potassium ATPase activity (ENKA) may be indices of suboptimal nutrition.
