Özet:
The purpose of this study was to investigate
changes in fibrinolytic activity (FA) during the recovery period of maximal
exercise (MEx) in sedantary males. Sixteen healthy, nonsmoker volunteers aged
23.2 (19-30) is volunteered. VO2max, body surface area (BSA) and body fat
percentage is calculated for all subjects. They performed maximal cycling
exercise to exhaustion. Euglobulin lysis time (ELT), fibrin plate lysis area
(FPLA), fibrinogen (F), tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA), pH, lactate
(L), cholesterol(Ch), and triglyceride (Tr) concentrations measured before the
exercise (BE), immediately after exercise (AE), one (1AE) and four (4AE) hours
after the exercise. The results of FPLA, tPA increased at AE and 1AE while they
decreased at 4AE. ELT decreased at IAE and 1AE, but it increased at 4AE.
However, F values didn't change significantly during the same period. FA
changes didn't correlate to VO2max.,
BSA, % body fat, pH, L, Ch, Tr
concentrations. In conclusion, the results of the study indicated that FA
changes seen immediately AE is still continuing during the recovery period. The
decrease in FA at 4AE reminded us that it could be one of the mechanisms of the
sudden death encountered after intense stress or exertions.
