This course examines the multidimensional impact of public space on urban quality of life through both theoretical and practical perspectives. It explores the role of public space in urban civility, economic value creation, environmental sustainability, transportation efficiency, public health, safety, equity, and social inclusion, while discussing definitions, types, and manifestations of public spaces in different urban contexts
