Research areas of Cancer Genetics Research Group; Cancer Biology and Genetics, Molecular Genetics, Genotoxicology, Gene Therapy and Epigenetic Mechanisms. The team has several ongoing research projects. There are studies on genetic predisposition in cancer, early diagnosis in cancer, effective treatment and determination of poor prognosis, and studies to understand the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance and to overcome the developing resistance mechanisms. The team carries out multidisciplinary studies, including both cellular therapy models and clinical research, in order to contribute to the development of effective treatment approaches specific to the individual.
