The sudden emergence of COVID 19 pandemic, the quarantine and lockdown experienced and social distancing rules, as well as reconstructing social relations, caused changes in life styles of people on a global scale. According to the literature, studies on COVID-19 present important insights on future education, research, practice of architectural and urban design. With processes such as distance learning and working, the balance of home and work life was disrupted, and daily lives that were lived in an urban scale had to fit into home scale. All these situations have also changed the use of housing and housing environment, which emerge as the physical reflection of daily life style. The aim of this study is to determine the changing life habits after the pandemic and to examine the reflections of these changes on the usage of housing and housing environment. In addition, the study also aims to make comparisons among households in different districts. In the study conducted in 30 neighborhoods of 3 central districts of Bursa, the data obtained through the survey study were statistically analyzed with frequency, chi-square and variance analyzes. According to the results obtained in line with the analysis; these are found that after the pandemic, shopping, transportation, social relations and hygiene habits of the people have changed and there are differences between districts about these habits. In addition, distance education/work has brought about the use of the residential space as an office / a classroom in most households. Outdoor usage of people has changed also, and it has been observed that duration of open space usage varies according to the type of residence. Along with the discussion of the obtained findings from the perspectives of personal qualities and housing design, the study makes inferences about the life styles of the people, and suggestions are made in the context of the spatial organization of housing and housing environment.
