export market for Korean dried persimmon.
Research cooperation for the development of Turkish persimmon drying technology
The project described below is pursued by both ACHRI and GBARES. The details of implementation are arranged by both concerned authorities, and the research plan is attached as appendix.
ACHRI and GBARES will collaborate to provide the required technologies for the research, including the anti-browning (sulfur treatment) method, to facilitate the development of drying technology for To support the development of the European market for Korean dried persimmon exports, ACHRI will conduct a preference survey in Türkiye and collaborate with both Korean dried persimmon exporting companies and Turkish distribution companies to establish connections and work on necessary tasks.
ACHRI will be
responsible for providing GBARES with an annual project report, which will
include the research on Turkish persimmon drying technology as well as the
results of the survey on Korean persimmon preferences, within two
months at the end of each year's term. At the end of
the project, the principal investigator from ACHRI will present the final
results to GBARES either in person or via video conference.
ACHRI is obligated to
meet annual research goals, and after developing dried
persimmon production technology, ACHRI must jointly apply for a "Patent for New Dried
Persimmon Processing Technology" with GBARES.
