The purpose of the EmbED-EU project is to design, prototype and develop a holistic approach for the integration of EU
values in teaching and learning in higher education. Specifically, it aims to create a framework for the integration of EU
values through the teaching practice, as well as to create professional development opportunities and a self-reflection tool
for higher education lecturers and academics on how to transmit EU values to their learners through the teaching practice.
1. Qualitative research, to finalize the needs analysis previously conducted by consortium on the needs university lecturers.
2. Review of evidence-based resources on EU values and how they can be integrated in university teaching.
3. Prototyping and development of a framework, using co-creation methodologies (design thinking).
4. Development of an open online course (MOOC) on how to integrate EU values in their teaching practice.
