  On behalf of the Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research (SIAF),

  University of Zurich, it is a great pleasure to welcome you to the World Immune Regulation Meeting

  XIX on „Immune Activation, Effector Functions and Immune Tolerance with a special focus on Allergy

  and Autoimmunity”. As it is becoming a tradition, the contribution of the participants to the

  development of the program by sending us their suggestions, has been essential to achieve our goal.

  This year we have 48 plenary talks. 72 abstracts will be presented in 12 workshops and 65 abstracts in

  10 poster sessions. As every year, workshop presentations will be additionally displayed in the

  poster sessions to facilitate further discussions.
