Abstract:

In this study, scientific and literary aspects of Khalil Mardam, the author of Syrian national anthem, lived between 1895 and 1959, are examined. Regarded as one of the leading representatives of the Syrian literature, Khalil Mardam's studies were focused on "history of Arabic literature", "critical editions of Classic Divan poems" and "Arabic poems". In this thesis, the era he was lived, his life, poems and the other ideas are analyzed in generally with examples.
