During 2 year-studying period, a total of 91503 pollen grains / m³ which belonged to 46 taxa and 807 unidentified pollen grains were recorded. From identified taxa, 24 belong to arboreal, Gramineae and 21 taxa to non-arboreal plants. In the first year of our research 2005, 48058 pollen grains / m³, in 2006 43445 pollen grains / m³ were counted. Total pollen grains consist of 85.80% arboreal, 3.81% Gramineae, 9.51% non-arboreal plants and 0.88% unidentified pollen grains. Most abundant pollen taxa in the air of Mudanya town are , Olea europaea (23.57%), Platanus sp. (14.73%), Cupressaceae/Taxaceae (14.01%), Pinaceae (11.92%), Quercus sp. (7.21%), Fraxinus sp.
