Republic of Bulgaria, after fall of the comunist rule, has given many rights to minority grups, making use of this processus Muslims have founded three Imam-Hatip high school. Because the pressure of comunist era Muslims suffered deeply from moral decline. Because of this reality, religious education both in family and schools is very important. Imam-Hatip schools in this sense are at the very center of religious knowledge and culture. Today Muslim society in Bulgaria needs qualified religious staff more than ever. One of the basic function of Imam-Hatip schools is to provide necessary religious education for Bulgarian Muslim Society. The basic aim of this research is to find out and examine problems and expectations of Imam-Hatip students, and doing this, to contribute to make better education level and conditions. For this reason we have aplied inquiries to the students who study in Şumen, Ruse and Momçilgrad Imam-Hatip schools. Through thise inquiries we aimed to find out problemes and suggest some solutions.
