Abstract:In this study, a computer program was developed, to make the calculations of heat and mass transfer convenient, for engineering applications. The program calculates Reynolds number, Nusselt number and convective heat and mass transfer coefficient, in heat and mass transfer problems. The codes of program were written in visual programming, Delphi. Delphi uses Pascal in programming. The program uses Windows components and libraries without requiring a supplementary software. By the way, program can be easily used on computers which has support of Windows 3.1 or over. Data base is considered to include all geometries. Also the correlation's used in the program are considered to have least error rate and widest interval, available and the other correlations were given in the thesis. The fluids that are the most frequently used in the engineering applications and available in the thermodynamic tables and their properties were stored in the data base of the code.
