This research was carried out in order to determine some agronomic and cytologic characteristics of intervarietal wheat hybrids at the F1 generation. This research was conducted at Uludağ University, Agricultural Faculty, Agricultural Research and Application Center, Bursa in 1995 and 1996. As a result of this research; plant height, spike length, number of spikelets, number of seed in spikes, seed weight per spike and 1000 seed weight were found statistically significant at both durum wheat and winter wheat, except the number of spikelets of durum wheat. In the cytological observations, the ratio of ring bivalent was found higher than the rod bivalents after chromosome pairing in diakinesis stage was investigated.
