According to empirical studies, the trade of similar goods rather than trade of different goods, specially between developed countries, has been seen more offer in respect of 1960s. The same matter is in question for growing importance of trade in respect of similar goods in developing countries, such as Turkey, as well. Firstly, in this study, relationships of intra-industry trade (IIT) both between Turkey & World countries and between South Korea & World countries are examined. For this purpose, taking into consideration data 2001-2014 period, index of Grubel-Lloyd and adapted index of Grubel-Lloyd are used for measuring the IIT. According to the study, the IIT between Turkey and World countries has resulted in high values since 2010, and IIT between South Korea and World countries has resulted in high values from 2001 to 2014. However, as a main subject of the study, generally, it has been seen that IIT value of 2001-2014 period between Turkey and South Korea is very low. In addition, in terms of technological structure of good sections, although the relative distribution in IIT of the goods section with intermediate and standart technology of Turkey has resulted in high values, this matter is in question for high-tech goods in South Korea. Therefore, the relative distribution in IIT between two countries has been in question mostly for intermediate technology goods.
